New ambulance for Nicholas O’Hara 21st November 2006 A new Mercedes Vito extended long wheel-base has been purchased by Nicholas O’Hara in their continual growth and need to meet all the requirements of the funeral industry. The ambulance has been chosen in silver to match the funeral fleet and has been decorated in distinguishing blue markings and logo so is a visible vehicle when on the road as it is so often used at night in many situations. The ambulance has been fitted with two decks and is the first in this area to be fitted with a hydraulic upper deck which can be raised and lowered as needed and meets health and safety standards on lifting as the top deck is above what is deemed safe to lift upon. The vehicle has also been fitted with lots of shelving behind the bulk head so all the equipment needed to remove a deceased person from any situation can be carried out and allow staff to have at hand all what will allow them to do it safely and professionally. |
