Prepaid funeral planning for your funeral or that of a loved one.
Our business is expanding all the time and we are continually trying to make sure that we meet and exceed the expectations of the people we work with. Many people message us and they ask us if it is possible for them to pre-arrange their funeral. We’d like to tell our audience that it is more than possible for you to do this, in fact, it can come with some advantages.
First of all, it gives you the chance to lay down the wishes that you have and any instructions you would like to state for the funeral. This could include the hymns that you would like to have sung or the music you would like. Pre-arrangement also relieves some of the burden on your family members, after you have passed.
We are very proud to say that we now sell the Independent Way plan, exclusively. We believe that this package provides the best possible security for those who are interested in arranging their own funeral and it also helps to ensure that your payments are not only safe but also secure.
The money is held in the Golden Charter Trust, and this is run through an independent board. It is separate from the Golden Charter, meaning any money that you do pay will be both safe and protected.
The Funeral Plan
The great thing about the funeral plan is that it comes with a guarantee. No matter how much our selected services cost, or how much the price increases over time, you will not be asked for a single penny when you have your plan set in place. We’d also like to state that the funeral plan does include some allowance towards any third-part costs. This could include the fee of the cemetery or the crematorium. As long as you do not make any amendments or additions, and as long as the allowance covers the third-party expenses at the time of passing then no additional charges will be made. If you have purchased your plan and you intend to make additional changes then we can arrange this. It’s flexible, and we are always here to help you with the amendments you want to make.
Paying for the Plan
The plan can be paid for in full, by credit card, cheque or debit card. If you wish to spread the cost, then you can do so over a period of 12 months, interest-free, or choose up to 30 years dependent on age and it is through a low-cost payment plan. Our Award-Winning Funeral Service
We are very proud to say that we have been awarded the annual Golden Charter Regional Funeral Planner award. We were awarded this prestigious honour in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014. We were also the very first company in England to be given this award three years in a row. In 2020, we achieved the runner-up status. We sit on the SAIF Charter association as well, with 700 other funeral directors. We believe that by being connected to the local community and by being a part of this executive, we can help to ensure that the future of funeral planning is shaped for the better. Our own independent network helps us to obtain the knowledge and the approach we need to make sure that your funeral planning experience is stress-free and respectful at all times.
Our Donations
Every time someone purchases a funeral plan from us, we make the decision to donate to Tyler’s Friends. This is a charity of our choosing. Between September and July, we also choose to support the RBL Poppy Appeal through Golden Charter.
