Nicholas O’Hara has proudly won the Golden Charter Funeral Planner of the year for their region for sales achieved during 2009

The award was for funeral directors of their sized business within the south region from East Dorset to south west London. The award was presented at a Awards Ceremony in London on 13th March.

Anthony O’Hara head of pre-paid funerals said that he believed the high volume of sales was due to many factors, such as public awareness of funeral plans, people wishing to use a local family owned business and not be dictated into a national organisation or group, individuals savings not growing due to the recent recession, people wanting to save the burden of choice and cost to their families and it gave peace of mind to the plan holder.

Nicholas himself won the Best Newcomer award in 1995 and sees the latest award as proof of the growth of their business and the need for funeral plans.
