Charity golf day 2023
The now annual Nicholas O’Hara Funeral Directors charity golf day took place on Tuesday 4th July at Remedy Oak golf club. This year we had the maximum team entries of 22 and being the event fell on American Independence Day we added this as our theme with many of our golfers adopting it into their golfing attire.
The event was held to raise money for our charity of the year the Steve Bernard Foundation and all proceeds from the day will be donated to them in their amazing continued work.
The winners were:
Best dressed American – Marc Tulley
Best individual player – Luke Homer
Winning Team – Fisks Estate Agents
Best highest handicap player – Sami Garcia
Nearest the pin – Luke Hirst
Longest drive – Scott Taylor
The family business wishes to thank all those who took part on the day, the many who donated raffles prizes and brought tickets, those who purchased experiences through our silent auction and to all the sponsors who have helped raise an amazing amount of money for the charity. The online raffle alone made over £1000 with one person winning the star prize of an Ooni Pizza oven, donated by Canford Magna Garden Centre, and accessories worth £700!!
