On 11 and 12 April 2026, Nicholas O’Hara Funeral Directors team member Anna volunteered at MS Centre Dorset in Ferndown to help redecorate one of the centre’s main rooms used by visitors and patrons living with Multiple Sclerosis.
The project aimed to freshen and brighten the space, creating a cleaner, more modern environment for those who rely on the centre’s support services. Inspired by friends living with MS, Anna wanted to give back to a charity that provides vital support, understanding and community for people facing the daily challenges of the condition.
The newly decorated room now offers a brighter and more welcoming atmosphere, helping to lift the spirits of those using the centre. The project was made possible with generous donations from Crown Decorating Centre.
Reflecting on the experience, Anna encouraged others to volunteer their time for local causes, highlighting that even a small amount of help can make a meaningful difference to charities that rely heavily on community support.
