Nicholas O’Hara last night attended the Dorset Business awards gala evening at the lighthouse, Poole.
The family business had been nominated for Family Business of the Year and had been shortlisted from the 127 entries to the final three after 2 rounds of judging by the sponsors Princecroft Willis. Even though they did not win the category it was a huge honour just to get this far and rounded off an amazing year of accolades for the company having already won Golden Charter Regional Funeral Planner of the Year for the third year running and being named Blackmore Media’s family business of the Year.
The family are proud of their team of staff who they all see as both family and vital in the continued growth of the business and being recognised in this way is a huge honour and motivator to continue to achieve the high levels of care they strive for with each family they are chosen to care for.
