Nicholas O’Hara Support Food Charity at Easter

How many Easter Eggs can you get in a hearse?

Answer – 535!

On Saturday 22nd March,  Anthony and Jane O’Hara (and Buzz) delivered them to Hope for Food as part of their 1000 Egg Challenge. The local communities, colleagues, friends, local businesses and groups have again overwhelmed us with their support. In 2022 the business asked for support with the Ukraine appeal and were blown away then and the same again with this!

When Jane initially saw this challenge, it started with an idea that the business could make a small difference in making sure as many local children who may not have received an Easter Egg would this year. The support received went far beyond that. The team at Hope for Food, a charity foodbank based in Bournemouth, stated they were welcomingly shocked and humbled by the huge donation of eggs and gave us the most “eggstravagant” thank you!

The team at Nicholas O’Hara would love to thank you all personally but a huge mention to the communities of Wimborne, Verwood, West Moors, Canford Heath, Westbourne and Ferndown, as well as the following:

  • Rotary Club of Westbourne
  • Mint Glazing
  • Tesco Tower Park
  • Canford Heath Knit and Natter group
  • Boveridge College
  • Harold G Walker Solicitors
  • Maidmans Removals
  • Funeral Partners
  • Halliday Funeral Supplies Ltd
  • Smart Home Technical
  • Chase Freight
